Sustainability means meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.
Sustainability is about taking care of the goose that lays the golden eggs today and in a way that is enduring for future generations to come.
ANU's sustainability goals are promoted at all workplaces and we are committed to having a strong sustainability minded workforce ready to handle todays challenges.
We are stronger together and promote an environment where people are celebrated and valued for the diversity they bring to ANU.
All cultures, creeds, race, genders are welcome to ANU with open arms.
A culture of inclusivity is evident in everything we do and our goals for the future include growing our culture and promoting these values in everything we do.
ANU, our members and the employers we work with can work collaboratively to protect our precious ecosystems and the species that call it home, by reducing pollution, carbon and waste.
We are committed to working with employers and projects that share this deep commitment and passion for the world we all share. We will seek out those projects and employers that share these values.
Human Rights embody our values such as fairness, dignity, equality and respect.
By protecting and promoting these rights we give ourselves and our members the ability to speak up and challenge systems that diminish the human spirit. We are committed to working with people and employers that believe preserving and promoting Human rights are fundamental to building workplaces we would be proud to share with our families.
ANU is firmly committed to growing and developing the whole person. Through our agreements, we are committed to invest in providing every wellness resource in our reach.
By partnering with the Erika Legacy foundation, we work with cutting edge mental health champions to bring suicide awareness and prevention to our people and the communities in which they live.
Life is hard and it's OK not to be OK. ANU is committed to our members wellness in all dimensions.
Through collective bargaining, ANU engages with our partner employers to contribute to Truth and Reconciliation funds.
Our executive and fund advisors work with Indigenous leaders to identify key Reconciliation projects to support.
ANU is poised to make positive contributions at both a local and nation wide level.
